-replace a slider on the house
guy, clean, reorganize my small garage

HOBBIES:
- utilize my new Vibe Sea Ghost 130 for a lot of salt fishing
-Golf at LEAST 4 times this year
-work the creeks out of the 4runner
-install a radio or cb in the 4runner
-rust proof the frame

-hit all New England states for camping
-take 2 motorycle camping trips instead of 1 this year
- do my usual kayak river camping trip, maybe add another one

For the rigs:
JL - Roof Rack - awning
4Runner - winch, bumper front and back, lift and suspension.

Make it to Overland Expo Mountain, NW Overland Rally and start the Washington Back-country Discovery Route.

I want to hike more, do more photography, eat better, consistently get up by 4:30 so I can make breakfast every morning.
Spend some time with my dad.
Camp at least 10 times this year.

Loads more I'm sure.

My wife and I built our JKU to Overland...meaning it could get from point A to point B without to much concern (minus trails that have a high percentage for body damage). So we have gone places and ground camped with serviceable equipment that "just" did the trick. Our big splurge a few years ago was our ARB 50QT. This year (next 4 months) we have become more dedicated to our Overland build 2.0 up grades :)

Gobi Ranger Rack ( ordered ...10plus weeks to go from today)
RTT ( we are both done with the ground sleeping) (feel we are going with the Tepui Autana 3)
Yaesu 400xdr ham/comms
KC lights all over the rig. ( been doing night ops with OEM headlights and a handheld flash light)
5pound Propane attached to the rack.
Rotopax or jerry can setup for water and fuel.
Drawer/slider system designed by end of summer to fab it myself next winter.
Many other misc items...skottle, stove, IFAKs,....

Once all this is finished (may/june) first overnight will be to Sedona AZ for the shakedown of the rig.

We will be attending the Expo as well, but just on a day pass. We live to close not to :) its a grueling 2hr drive up the hill from hour house.

My goal for 2020 is to make myself better and to make my rig more Overlanding. I got me a brand new 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road and I have the budget for it and to do Top 5 Mods that are mandatory to my Overlanding Journey which started many years ago. I already have some solar power systems which I am going to transfer from the old to the new. The following:

SlimLine Bumper
Winch
Rear Bumper With Tire Mount Extra Accessories Mount
All Terrain Tires
Suspension and a possible 2-3 inches lift
Pop Tent Sleeping System and Roof Rack
Stove, Fridge
Light Bars,
Airing System
Snorkel

These are what I am aiming for and I have planned and projected all into action. I have already decided which I want first and what I want later. Divided them into needed now and get later on down the road. I am really excited.

Negotiate a better work schedule to spend more time enjoying the world. Love my job, but it’s not where I want to be 24/7...

That said, I want to overnight in at least 5 State Parks and 1 new National Park in 2020. Texas is a big place, y’all...

Wheels and tires were the big hurdle on my vehicle, so now that I’m mostly done with that I’m confident I can “finish” the rig by the end of the year.
