This is tailored to anyone who has recently purchased or is thinking about purchasing a 2019 Tacoma Pro with a desert air intake (DAI). My Voodoo Blue Pro came with a DAI, I very quickly realized that I would not be able to mount the majority of roof racks on the market for the 3rd gen Tacoma. My main interest was with the Prinsu design cabrac but my snorkel sat way too high and the head hit nearly every roof rack I looked at and the fabrication that would have needed to be done to make these two fit together was just too much of a hassle. I decided in the long run it was a better idea to purchase a Safari ARB and remove my DAI. Yes it was a costly decision and yes I probably could have fabricated a roof rack or the cabrac to make it work but the hassle was just too great. I removed my DAI and have sent it to prinsu so they can use it to help develop a cab rack that will fit the 2019 Tacomas with desert air intakes. I am extremely happy with the swap as it was worth the money, I also ordered the cabrac and am excited to install it. If you have any questions please hit me up.

Hello, I’m hoping to take my DAI off and put on a safari from arb as well. Did you have to get a new fender and make all new cuts and holes? How intensive was it for you? Any suggestions would be a great help. Thank you.
