I'm putting my LR4 out there to see if there's an enthusiast looking for a good one.
This is a 2015 Land Rover LR4 HSE Lux with the rare factory Heavy Duty Package, 73,000 miles, metallic black. I've owned it for the last 8 years. Two owners from new and a California vehicle its entire life.
If you know LR4s, you probably know why the HD Package matters. It gives you the two-speed transfer case and electronic locking rear differential, and these are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly with relatively low mileage.
I've set the truck up for overlanding/ off-road use without going crazy with modifications. It currently has 17-inch steel wheels with brand-new Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, underbody armor/skid protection, rock sliders, a full-length Front Runner Slimline II roof rack and rear ladder.
I also have the original Land Rover wheels, which will come with the truck.
Mechanically it's excellent. It has been regularly maintained throughout my ownership and has just had an oil service plus new brakes and rotors all around. No warning lights and no known mechanical issues. It has recently passed California smog.
The interior is excellent.
Cosmetically, it's an 11-year-old black LR4 that's been used rather than kept as a garage queen. The paint could use a good detail and polish, and the dash trim is beginning to lift. I'm deliberately putting it up before having it detailed because at this stage I'm really just seeing whether there's an LR4 enthusiast out there who is looking for this particular specification.
