How do you like the SPOD system? I like the way you mounted your switch panel in the cab too!

I really like it! It will make adding accessories way easier, and it only took about an hour to install. Also there aren't too many places that have enough space to mount the switch panel, but that spot works perfect.

Adding some power to the bed. One switch is for the outlets. The other switch is for the light in the shell, the switch it came with kind of sucks so that is being replaced. I'll post pictures when it's installed. View attachment 53766

Got the outlet, and switches all installed. It took a little while because I re-ran all the wiring that the dealer put in when the shell was installed.

Finally Installed the bed rug, there are still a couple of gaps, where dust can get in, does anyone have any ideas on how to fill them? The canned spray foam won't stick.

Where are the gaps at??? Try campers tape or maybe weather strip for like storm doors that are single sided sticky.

Gaps are underneath the bed rails, the side of the bed stops and there is like a 2" gap in some places that goes right into the wheel well. And I'm doing weather stripping around the tailgate. I never thought of campers tape, that would probably work, or maybe even like peel and stick flashing for houses?

You could try one of these bed seal kits. I just installed one in my 18 gmc crew cab but have yet to take it down a dirt road.
It has large foam wedges that fit into those holes.

I wish I knew that existed a week ago! I ended up using some canned spray foam, and it seams to have worked pretty well, I just need to seal around the tailgate and it will be dust free!!

Thanks! I built it out of an Ibeam I got off of craigslist, and some steel tubing. I got the hinge parts from Comp4x4.com. It was a fun project and could have been built prettier but it functions great!
