The Frontier Pro 4x is a great platform direct from the factory with a 4.0 v6 and a 6 MT w/ an electric rear diff lock.
She's a part time daily driver, and part time overland, camping, adventure seeking rig. My build reflects small upgrades made over several trips and years to enhance comfort and / or capabilities of the rig.
Most of the upgrades and changes were done with the mindset of keeping it simple, functional, and dependable over the long haul. (not a dedicated trail rig)
