Back in 2004 I started collecting parts for an engine build (351w stroker-395w after everything was bored and stroked). This was originally going to be for a 1994 302 powered turbo mustang GT that I had extensively modified for road racing. I never finished that project so the parts sat in several boxes gathering dust That was all in Arizona…After eventually selling that car to a friend and moving to Colorado I really needed a 4x4 truck for the weather aspect and therefore purchased the aforementioned Bronco XLT in 2014. After adding a Garrett T04 turbo and many miles to a tired engine I decided to pull these parts back out and start the engine build for this vehicle instead. I had almost all of the parts for the entire bottom end rotating group including a 1977 bored block. I added a comp roller cam, AFR 195 Renegade heads snd a bunch of other power enhancement goodies! Here are some pics from that almost year long engine building process :

No turbo on this engine- However it is only 9:1 compression with forged internals and could easily be turbocharged if I want to do it in the Future!
Current project for this Bronco is a spare tire carrier- Home brew style ( Amateur radio lingo for designed and built at home by me!). I hate the issues with the factory tire spare tire carrier snd wanted something original… it is almost done- just need some paint!
