A beautiful fall day...just me, the Rover, and the dogs. First stop was the Fairmont Diner on US hwy 101 for Chicken fried steak and eggs, (and a side order of bacon and sausage for the pups)...Then off to the dog park to play with dog friends, much fun was had by all...Then off to the Elwha...

These wouldn't necessarily be a must at basecamp, but sure would be nice and a great way to relax! Check them out! (let my wife know Christmas is coming up in a few months haha) I've also seen a few cool DIY pages on how to make your own. I'm not sure I have the wood working skills to pull...

Take it off roading of course! Fun video...I love the transition from apprehension to elation and just having fun. Because in reality...whether we pay $1000.00 or $70,000.00 it should be all about getting out, exploring and having fun in our overland vehicles. Enjoy!

I think this guy has the right idea! I snapped these pics at a local casino. It is a rare Series Rover with the factory pop-up camper top...I'd say he enjoys his "down" time on the trail!
