You should be using leashes with your recovery boards so they don't get lost and so you don't have to go digging through mud or much to find them....

check out the YouTube videos on offroad recovery companies. Matt's Offroad Recovery uses nothing but Badlands (Harbor Freight) one of the other channels, they dumped their warns for the Badlands models. None of their Badlands have failed, several of their warns did. YMMV, but don't write off...
