Well we went for another quick drive, this time to Black Diamond Lake.
The former Black Diamond Coal Mine is 5 kilometres west of Collie, and 600 metres south of the highway at a location called Allanson.
The former pits were created by Amalgamated Collieries Pty Ltd in the late 1940's to...
Myself, my fiance and a mate went on a quick overnighter, a few beers were had and some fishing.
All in all it was a great night.
Packed and ready to go. DAY 1
Ready to hit the beach.
Google Map location.
Now to enjoy a coldie while watching the sunset.
And of course 'waiting' for the...
Hey all, yay we finally have our own WA thread.
I am based in Bunbury (for now). May be moving out remote soon, which I am looking forward to.
Looking forward to seeing those remote/secret spots that we have here in WA.
Well as some know myself, my girlfriend and my dog went on a trip for 5 weeks.
The trip was to Tasmania from Jabiru in the NT.
Here I will write a trip report as best I can and what we enjoyed about it and what was less enjoyable.
This could be a long write up so keep checking in for updates.
Well I finally got some images of lightning last night, not my best but am still happy.

Here are some photos from Cahills Crossing which is just down the road from where I live (30 min drive). This time of year they actively hunt and feed on mullet or any other fish that falls into their sharp trap.

It was an awesome time and we had the whole place to ourselves, just the way I like it (uh huh)....
Here are some photos of the trip.

Well myself two mates and two dogs just got back from an awesome 3 day 2 night camping trip exploring some old tracks and mining ruins near Pine creek.
The damage to the vehicles was kept to a minimum with some common sense and some road building to cross wash outs caused by the last wet...
Went for a drive with the girlfriend yesterday, and took a few snaps. Nothing too exciting.
Was a long/shortcut to Darwin via the Old Jim Jim Rd and then up to Hardies Lagoon and Corroboree Billabong where we saw a 4m + salty about 10m from where we stopped. It slowly slipped into the water and...
Tomorrow it is my girlfriends birthday, unfortunately we are both working (me working night shift). But next Thursday we will getting a Darche Panorama 2 Roof top tent and a foxwing awning fitted to my Dualcab landcruiser. Then later that day or early the next day (depending on time it takes to...

Well a mate of mine Rhys has wanted to camp at a particular spot for quite awhile, but unfortunately he has always missed out due to the local popularity on long weekends. This time the long weekend lined up with my week off, so with GPS coordinates loaded into my ipad and onto google earth I...
Hi all, just recently I took 3 weeks off work and thought that I would pack my car up with my girlfriend and my dog and go for a drive. The aim was to try and do as much of the 'Savannah Way' as possible. I was aware that we have had a lot of rain during this wet season and that a fair few of...
