Hello all,
I recently installed a set of diode dynamics fog lights on my 2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i. Boy oh boy was it difficult. Not only did Subaru not include any fog light housing for my car, but there was no switch in the dashboard or relay in the car for the lights. I went to my local...
Second trip is in the books! 15 days, 7 National Parks, 4 states, 2 people, 1 cat! It really helped me work out the kinks in the build so far in terms of logistics, comfort, and organization. I think I'm going to build a new, lower sleeping platform so I can actually lift my head. I also want a...
I'll take a look! I believe I have a Force XL, so I think it'll fit. My only real concern is that the Thule's top kind of tapers down on the front and back so putting it flush in the back/front walls will be trial by fire.
YeahI think that's the way to go, I just have to make sure my spare can fit in the Thule for now. I just got AT tires so my donut under the trunk is pretty useless, also I kept my old rims/tires for the very purpose of a full-size spare, but that obviously adds on weight and requires me to get a...
Thanks! I'm still heavily considering removing the rear seats/spare tire storage space to give myself more head room. I just need to make sure once I do, the two pieces of my bed remain level because the measurements only account for resting atop the seats/spare tire storage. And idk if you can...
Still in the fledgling phase of my build but I still wanted to document it, so I made a thread here.
I have a 2018 Forester 2.5i and the only modifications I've done is swap tires/rims as well as build out a bed for the back seat/trunk area.
Just got the new tires and rims!
I'm now sitting on some Black Rhino Boxer 17"s and Toyo Open Country AT3s.
Up next is a DIY awning system created by @Slippery Chuck from his Subaru build and then hopefully a lift kit. Please give me recommendations on a lift kit! - 2/22/21
Wow I am in the EXACT same boat. I have a 2018 Forester 2.5i and my girlfriend and I just built out our sleeping platform for the back. Getting new tires and (unnecessarily) rims next week!
Hey all, I thought it would be fun to document the progress of my blossoming overlanding Forester 2.5i.
My first task was building a bed for the back of the car to sleep in. It's comprised of two pieces that connect with bolts but can stack in my trunk if I need to carry passengers in the back...
