    GX460 in progress

I don’t plan on any drawers. Was still thinking about deleting those seats in favor of a shallow trunk. Nothing taller than the height the seats are at folded. There is a small dead space with the seats folded down that I currently use for straps and random stuff. My three big dogs use all the...

    GX460 in progress

In January of this year I traded in my 2013 Taco on a 2019 GX460. I absolutely love it. I’ve recently started the build and here’s where I am so far. This is what I came from.I promised my wife I’d finish my ‘71 Triumph Trident project before I go to crazy with the GX. So far I’ve added 285’s...

    My Tacoma in progress.(traded in)

75% was I just wanted something new to me. The other 25% was random things were wearing out very prematurely(largely due to the 35” tires) While I like the utility of a pickup, I like everything about an SUV more. Prior to my Taco I had an Xterra. It was supposed to get built up for off-road...

    First post work in progress

The possibilities are endless for customizing your Taco. I’m a big fan of DIY. The only real short comings I have found with my ‘13 Tacoma is stopping and MPG’s. I resolved the stopping part but there is no good fix for the added weight and big tires.

    DIY Aluminum Roof Rack Question

Stick with bolts or rivets if you don’t have a welder. The lightest and strongest would be a combination of epoxy and rivets. If bolting loctite is your friend. Just like anything on your 4x you’ll want to check connections on the regular.

    Nissan Armada

That’s awesome looking Armada. Is it lifted? If so what did you use? Any alignment issues? I’m strongly considering one for my next vehicle.

    Suspension & Lockers

I’m not a fan of arb, I’ve had to many problems with their stuff. Dobinsons and Ironman make stuff for 80 series. As for lockers I’m a big fan of simple uncomplicated. A drop in auto locker in the rear and more suspension flex will get you very far.
