I would make up a panel that can use existing hardware under the seat that you can stick the other half of the velcro to. Carpet will only hold the hook end of the velcro so much as you have discovered.

Meh, this has been the same for any and all vehicle "fad" People buy in, not understanding there is upkeep. I can't count how many rigs I've seen with a half rotter or missing winch line on their winch of their rig without a single scratch....

My laziness has turned me on to instant coffee. Heat my water, fill my cup, drop a spoon in and I'm good. Cafe Bustelo is my current favorite. I had a jar of Folgers Noir and that was pretty decent as well.

Basically, if you cannot maintain social distancing, you need to have a mask on, so, all is good.

Did you check to make sure it was actually locked? I've known more than one person who puts the chain and all that on and doesn't actually close the lock.

Unless you are going to be bouncing your truck off rocks all day, I'd swap out the steel skids for aluminum. I have them on my Frontier and would do it again. Bumpers? I have a WAM hidden winch mount behind my oem bumper. Until I rip the front (or rear for that matter) bumper off, i'm keeping...

I pack what I need for the specific trip. If I don't plan to stay the same place each night, I'll leave the cot and tent at home and sleep in the back seat of my truck. I even prefer instant coffee, so, no filters and fewer moving parts.

Much like the Jeep / Harley argument, I don't have Jeep/Harley/Skottle money, so, my Nissan, my pedal bike and my Coleman 2 burner stove is the set up for me.
