For now it has been delayed. It is looking like more of a Utah trip in April. Dog had to get acl and meniscus surgery so he wont be ready to go by February. Baja may be pushed to next year. Especially since February is supposed to be baby blue whale season.

Ive made my own dehydrated backpacking meals. It requires too much time/fuel to get it back to edible state when backpacking, but could be a good solution for overlanding.

I just bought two kelty doublewide sleeping bags. Maybe give them a shot. It packs down HUGE so it takes a lot of space, but spread out your RTT may close on it.
