Yes on the VP9. Being she is 5’ nothing and has small hands she liked the grip, Europe mag release and the little cheater wings on the rear of the slide that along with the weak recoil spring makes it easy to rack. It’s got a great trigger and she shoots it pretty well. She went out hunted one...

Good advice, and being that I am way to cute to do any “hard time” I stay very diligent on making sure I’m aware of any silliness that may exist outside my normal AO and pack accordingly.

My shield is the only M&P I have left. My wife had one and I had a 43. Much to my disappointment after shooting both for about a year I proved to myself that I shot the Shield better. In fact nearly as well as I shoot a 19 within 10 yards. So I bought Shield. The capacity sucks but like you...

I think the M&P is probably the most underrated striker fired pistol made today. Especially the 2.0. It’s my first choice after the Glock. I’ve ran the piss out of a lot of different handguns to see what works (for me) and what doesn’t. The M&Ps hold up to everything I put a Glock through and...

I dove into the 320 series for a bit being that I had owned about every 9mm P series from the old German 225,220 to the Mk25, 229&226 Legions and mix of others. While I liked the modularity of it when it came to striker fired carry guns I just kept going back to the Glock. I know they aren’t for...

Having been a Sig owner for a lot a years the 365 really interest me due to the size & capacity. If i was starting over I may have jumped on one but being I am heavily invested in Glocks, and M&P shields when in need smaller, I just have a hard time justifying another platform when what I works.

Preparing The Body and Mind For Survival In The Field

Wow, let me be the first to say thank you for posting this and taking the time to write it. I’m a believer. I’m also wired to not quit so this hits home with me since lately I’ve had a hard time getting started again. At 50 I was in better shape than I was at 20. Physically and mentally at a...

Suppressed .45 is insane. Been considering the B&T 45acp for just that purpose but the price tag & new WA Laws made me hit the skids on any new purchases. As for the the .308 I’ve dabbled in it a bit.

What am I missing in the article? Saturated market so redirecting production. As I said above it would be a poor business strategy to produce something that’s not selling. No mater what the perception might be I think they are clearly stating the reasons why.

I see a new thread coming, Overlanding chicken coop builds! “How many hens you running?” “You doing a house or a tractor?”

I don't understand open bed trucks with racks and tents.

The wife comments about the “grampa truck” make me laugh because my wife said the same thing. My response being “why are you not in the kitchen making me a sandwich?”

Im guessing this has been coming for a while. The market is saturated right now and prices are at an all time low. I think your average joe that’s only shooting once a month isn't spending $1K on a colt when they can slap together a PSA for less than half. The guys building Gucci guns are also...

That was the direction I was going. Just trying stay between the lines when it comes the Forum rules. It’s pretty clear politics & religion are out bounds. I realize the gun debate is a hot political topic and I’m strongly on one side of it. I also understand I’m not going to win any hearts &...

I had no idea you had seen my daughter ride?   It was actually last year when her horse went ape$hit. While they didn’t end up in the stands he did make 4 hot laps around the arena before she could get him reined in. This year, totally different story.

Thats a fact. I was a firefighter for a lot of years and while vehicles can be brought back from a lot of things fire is seldom one of them.

Since this thread has gone 4H straight off the track and I admit cheering “send it!” I’ll attempt to bring it back on track to the original post. Do I carry a firearm on the trail? YES. To me nothing out of the ordinary since I’ve carried one on me 99% of the time for the past 20 years...

I honestly don’t know one way or the other I just could not find anything on the inter web about her being here? As for transplants pushing agendas I’ve been a WA resident my whole life and watched things go from “it will never happen here” in the 70’s-80’s to “OMG we are now California 2.0.”...
