Do your walking trails in the morning and evening. In between have fun exploring all the 4x4 trails, in the cool comfort of the truck, thats what we did. Im currently in SATX, moving back to East Tx soon though (August). If I can get the time off, Im always down for overlanding trips. Mostly been wheelin alone lately, which is nice, but I joined in here to find some like minded people.

It sounds like you've been before. But June will already be hot man. Very HOT. Just got back, it was 90s in the basin. But dont let that stop you or anyone else, just making sure everyone is well aware. After the first night, we didnt set up camp until after dark.

My buddy has a 2014 Raptor and he overlands with me on occasion. But he mostly just throws stuff in the back and otherwise uses my gear lol. Nice pooch. Our dogs would probably be friends.
