First Hondas to Summit Imogene Pass??? Colorado 13,114ft

Great photos! Makes me miss my '07 Honda Pilot I had ages ago...I always appreciate seeing people taking these types of vehicles off-road.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Thanks! A couple things pushed me towards the yellow fogs: 1. I likely will not be upgrading the headlights to LEDs, so I felt the yellows looked decent when paired with the stock halogen headlights; 2. I've heard good things about off-road night driving with yellow/amber fogs...which is...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Installed my Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport yellow LED fog lights the other day: Also replaced my map and dome lights with LEDs: Out with the old: In with the new:

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Nice! I'm looking at getting a WAM winch mount for my Frontier, as well. What winch are you going with?

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Yessir! I used 2 cans of graphite plastidip (took one can alone for the grille): Graphite Plastidip Using the plastidip is quite easy. Prep the surface by simply cleaning and drying thoroughly. Then you simply tape off an area around the emblems (I removed the grille entirely as it was easier)...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Had a slow afternoon at work a few days ago so I played with some graphite plastidip and dipped my grille and rear emblems:

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Incredibly jealous. Currently saving up to replace the Group 24 battery on our travel trailer with one of these.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Just purchased a Heps design hi-lift bed mount for my Frontier's utilitrack bed system from Nisstec Heps Designs HiLift Bed Mount (Frontier and Titan) Thought about making my own system just using some Unistrut channel bolts and whatnot, but liked the slightly heavier duty design of the Heps...

Best Rig to Start a Build

To be able to give you a proper answer, it would be helpful to have a bit more information such as: 1. Price range 2. New or used, or either 3. Actual plan for use. Do you want something that can be a rock crawler? Or something more suited for dirt roads? Or either? 4. Ideas on future build...

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Definitely no more bumping - plus it's nice to be able to give our dog her own sleeping area so she doesn't end up on top of us every night ;). Not sure how long the material will last. The guy we bought it from used it for around 40 nights in the last year or so, and it looks brand new. The...

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Picked up a new-to-me trailer - 2018 Flagstaff 207SE. The wife and I wanted something a little more comfortable/quick to setup than our typical tent setup that we had been using for a couple years. It will make our many weekend camping trips much more enjoyable. Plus, it being a "sport edition"...

    Camping Whisk(e)y?

I'm generally a bourbon over rye kind of guy. The few more affordable bottles I generally like to keep stocked in my bar are: - Four Roses Small Batch - Breckenridge Bourbon - Basil Hayden - Bulleit Bourbon - Woodford Reserve If I'm feeling fancier I'll generally have: - Breckenridge...

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Nope! Located in the suburbia surrounding Denver. I see where you are getting that, though. It doesn't help that our entire neighborhood is missing front yard landscaping (just moved in a few months ago and the builder's landscapers are way behind to say the least).

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Got rid of the Trailhawk and replaced it with something that I think will fit my long term needs a bit better...'16 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X with 22k on the clock: Really wanted something that would be able to more easily tow a small camper trailer. And also love the simplicity and durable...

WHY did you choose YOUR rig?!

Thanks! It's funny, I remember hating the Cherokee design when it was first launched in 2014, but it definitely grew on me. When they announced the 2019 model to have the more traditional headlights, I actually preferred the split design of the 2014 - 2018 models...one of the reasons I ended up...

WHY did you choose YOUR rig?!

2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Ultimately decided on this vehicle due to several main criteria: 1. This vehicle needs to be a comfortable daily driver - which means comfort in my two hours of commuting each day, and ease of parking in a tight parking garage downtown. 2. Reasonable gas mileage...

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Just scooped up a Rotopax 4-gallon gas canister. Starting off my Cherokee build slowly. Next purchase will most likely be a Gobi rack with ladder.

Looks like it was very well done. Definitely a big fan of the color combination and the front bumper/winch setup. Always cool to see new vehicles being kitted out.

Interesting read on Millennials and the Camping industry!

As a "millennial" 27 year old myself, I completely agree with your thoughts. I think there are really a few main factors that are driving the increase in the lifestyle that the article mentions. However the largest factor, in my opinion, is that my generation seems to be much more interested in...
