If you guys do a meet next year I would absolutely try my best to make it from California. I proposed to my wife at Yellowstone a couple years ago and we’ve been itching to come back to the area and see the Tetons ever since!
I use these as well and like them, I haven't used some of the other ones mentioned though I may have to give Gaia a try on my iphone as I understand the maps are downloadable and the national geographic maps are available on there as well.
previously i was doing french press, on the past couple trips this year, i've switched to using an aeropress along with a Hario hand mill. The aeropress is plastic and lightweight. I think I originally convinced wife to buy it because it would be "better" for our camping trips.
