    Do you know if the batteries are isolated from each other? Especially when the engine is off? That might give you an entirely different direction for power and the solar, etc.

    It works well. I use all NMO bases so they’re to swap. The highway patrol was even kind enough to predrill to holes for me.

    Multiple options are good. I’ve got a 2 meter Icom rig, plus the ability to add several more radios. I even have an antenna farm, with the ability to swap antennas at will depending upon current needs.
