I get about 14 towing my teardrop. I can’t say I get any better without it. I limit my speed to 65 tow to the limits of trailer tires. I’m planning to change to a car tire design to get around that, but the tiny bearings will still be a limiter.

I wasn't even planning to mess with legs on my disk. A burner like this should be good for it to sit upon.

I bet it does! i used the frame of my teardrop to haul the bulky items home before I built the cabin. the frame bounced, and the hitch rattled a lot.

Ah, makes sense. When I first saw a turtleback trailer, I was turned off by the lack of wood cabinets and finishes. Once I watched their demo video, it made sense why they chose not to use it.

mine is all wood. There’s been no warping in 12 years. Condensation is possible with any enclosed space as well.
