    Subaru Owners Registry

Hah!, Just 'cause I'm old, doesn't mean I don't have fun!! I did a lot more than kill them; I mashed them into the asphalt! :) My eldest daughter was a new driver shortly after I bought the WRX, and had a '91 Miata w/slushbox. I sent her to Mid-Ohio's Teen Driving School, and also the the local...

1995 Subaru Legacy L AWD wagon.

Yep, me too. Learned to drive in a 1962 Ford Falcon Wagon, had a 1969 FIAT 124 Wagon (see the first page of the "First Exploring Vehicle" thread), the 2002 WRX Wagon, 2008 Outback Wagon, two hatchbacks in between, and a pickup with a cap, which was essentially a wagon. Back in the '70s, I was...

    Best Conversion Platform...

Both, generally speaking, see a lot of idling and slow driving. Both would most likely be maintained very well, too. I've never sen a 4WD short but before. That's pretty cool! We don't have 4WD ambulances around here, either, but I've at least seen them before. My grandfather and three of his...

1995 Subaru Legacy L AWD wagon.

Welcome to Overland Bound, Robert! As a former Subaru owner, I look forward to see what you do with yours. I lifted my 2008 Outback XT with 3/4" spacers, and went +1 tires with Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S, which worked great on and off road. Most of my other modification were comfort/convenience...

    Nature Photos

Last summer I mounted an owl house in one of the spruce trees out back, but nobody moved in. A couple of weeks ago, I was trimming some nearby branches, so decided to clean out any debris that might be in the box. I reached in with my gloved hand, and tried removing the mess of squishy leaves at...

    Mountain biking

In my part of Ohio, places to mountain bike are about as easy to find as places to drive off pavement. A couple of local metro parks is about it. Still, the roads are subject to winter ice, salt, etc., so lots of potholes, tar snakes, and general rough rides. Doesn't make riding on 120 PSI...

I'm not sure, but I don't think you want to be grilling over something zinc anodized.

    Water Storage (Merged Thread)

I have a 12V pump with a spray head that works with my WaterBricks. I store it inside an empty one. Google Images for WaterBrick and see all of the ways people are using and securing them. One tip: crimp the carry handle bail tighter so that it stays on.

    OB Sticker

@JackTRD31 I believe that @Michael realized that the first batch of stickers were prone to fading, and changed manufacturers. He's offered to replace stickers that have failed like yours. Steve

4Runner Freaks: New Trail or New Pro?

I bought a complete set from eBay. It wasn't cheap at something around $70, but I'd never done plastidip before and didn't want it looking like crap. See my build thread linked in my dig for the info.

4Runner Freaks: New Trail or New Pro?

Thanks. That's a vacuum-formed overlay on the front and back, not plastidip. Here's the rear:

4Runner Freaks: New Trail or New Pro?

You can do the grill mod for around $500. ;) I thought about it, but I like my blacked out look better.

4Runner Freaks: New Trail or New Pro?

My two cents, and I own a Trail Premium w/KDSS. This is the popular opinion I found on the T4r.org forum when I was researching: If you plan on leaving the suspension alone, and plan to do some easy/medium/slightly difficult trails, the get the Pro. If you plan to make suspension changes and...
