    New OLB Forum Theme!

That's been an option since day 1 of the forum. Here's how: https://overlandbound.com/forums/threads/how-to-change-the-overland-bound-forum-style.295/ Of the two offered in the poll, I prefer the new look. I just plain do not participate on forums with dark or odd colored background. It makes...

    Lets Talk Cameras

I just got a first generation SX-70 gone over, lubed, and in good working order now. Beautiful camera. Too bad the film is so expensive and slow to develop. I was used to the 20 second Polaroid film from days gone by. Daughter has a Fuji with smaller film. Guess it is the thing for kids at college.

    PAY IT FORWARD >>>

I'd like to give a huge shoutout to @FrankR for the Dakine Reload Pack! I was carrying my camera gear in an assortment of bags, cases, and even Deb's Vera Bradley padded lunch bag. Now everything fits in one big bag, convenient to carry, and well protected. The only problem, is that it lets...

    Are You an Overlander?

That's the video that brought me here! I kinda wish I hadn't seen it. Then I'd still have several thousand dollars in my bank account instead of in my driveway. [emoji3] Sent from my iPad using OB Talk

    Ohio Roll-Call!

Ummmm, no... Waiting for the Medina guys from the Ohio 4Runners FB Group to get things organized so we can do three at once. The WRX Wagon was fantastic, but not for off road. I had it mildly prepped for autocross, so it had trouble with some driveways. The OBXT was lifted and had skid plates...

    Jeep Wrangler GMRS

I don't know if it was available when @Rob Frank bought his Midland Micro for $150 at Cabala's, but the 15 watt version is now available for the same price. (5 W on the lower channels and 15W on the higher.)

Steve’s 2016 Toyota 4Runner Modification and Adventure Thread

Hi Joe! When I assembled the LoadWarrior and extension, I used silicone sealant between all the pieces and fasteners to keep water out. Then I painted the entire assembly with several coats of chassis paint to add another layer of protection. Who knows if it will ever come apart. At this time, I...

I think I want this -- anyone used one?

A friend of mine has one for his 1960 Mini, and loves it. With a 5000 pound limit, I don't think I'd use it with my 4800 pound curb weight truck.
