Hi Mark, Fantastic! Another Subaru build in process here on Overland Bound. You'll find several that you can glean some ideas from. Here's a search link for threads with Subaru in the title that might help: https://overlandbound.com/forums/search/279076/?q=Subaru&o=date&c[title_only]=1 An...

Ruby Falls/ Grave Flats staging area (Alberta)

Very nice! Add a GPX and/or KML files as attachments, as well as an image of the map with the route on it, and we can "Approve" it and move it to the Downloadable Routes folder.

    DIY Portable Camp Kitchen

I ordered one. I'll let you know the quality when I get it. Once I build a support and some storage, I can remove the handles and cut the nubs off for reduced height. Meanwhile, it will be a handy collapsible container.

    Tax return plans?

When I worked, I adjusted my W4 every couple of years to come as close to zero either way as I could. Now that I'm retired but too young for Medicare, I pay more for medical insurance than my income, so I don't pay any taxes. :( 19 more months, and I'll be getting a $28k/year raise!

    Thoughts on bivy sacks?

Yep, I knew it didn't meet your trailer or ground needs. I just thought maybe it would give you some ideas to expand on.

Need Feedback - New Regional Overland Bound Patches

As long as it isn't like Disney's Pocahontas movie, that had Alps type mountains right up to the Virginia shoreline!

Who did you grow up with?

I think a bunch of y'all misread the question. Although Bugs Bunny *could* be interpreted as a survival primer. ;)

    Solar Panels?

I completely understand, and agree to some point. I merged 6-8 "what CB should I get" threads into an already large thread. That might lead to confusion, but theres also no need for so many separate threads. I generally try to nudge folks to an already existing thread, but usually, the duplicate...

Need Feedback - New Regional Overland Bound Patches

Ah, OK. The thread I was referring to was this one: https://overlandbound.com/forums/threads/regional-ob-stickers.1029/ which, oddly enough, was started one year ago today. It started out talking about rockers for the stickers, then patches, and then you talked about adding rockers to the metal...

    Lifting a 2016 4runner?

Hey Matt, Over on the T4R.org 5th generation forum, there are tons of threads on lifting options, and the general consensus is most work with KDSS. I'm not lifting mine unless or until I run into situations where the excellent factory suspension falls short. It is balanced well for the highway...
