I hate to admit this but I bought the Staun knockoff's on amazon for 30 bucks and they work great. I have used them countless times over the past year and have had 0 issues. They took a bit of trial and error to get dialed in but now they just work.
That is true. I do like that you can have one license to cover up to 5 people in your family (if I remember correctly). that is nice when we go camping/hiking with my sister. Both vehicles are covered under my license.
It is funny you say that because we got an in-reach mini for this exact reason. Insurance for when we take trips and don't bring our teenager with us. Piece of mind to check in and also in the event we get into a pickle.

From your computer you have to go to your "account" and make sure that things are organized the way you want them. I like to keep my tracks/routes in one folder and my waypoints in another. You go to your account on the top...
I use Gaia GPS on an LTE enabled ipad. The 4G (LTE) ipads have a built in gps so you don't need an in-reach or SkyPro to send it signal. Personal choice but works for us. Hope that helps.
