Maybe. But if so, then I am too. I know that they were fiddling with the new map software, but I thought that's done now. Paging @Michael

    Trans-New Jersey Trail

Thanks for the info. I was wondering whether the Easy file contained any notes, recommendations, campground info, etc, or just the route. Adding the document might make it more interesting to more people.

    Trans-New Jersey Trail

Leon, Any problem with this setup for the trail as long as I avoided wet weather? The portion we were on in the north could be travelled by a Civic. This isn't an off-road version like First State's, just the basic 200# axle and leaf springs. Thanks!

How many of you have found your rig on Google Earth? Not in your driveway!

I checked the Walmart and Home Depot parking lot, and I wasn't there... They haven't been in our area for a while. I don't own any of these any more.

What do you have for arrangements for your house while away?

Same sort of thing here. Longest has been almost two months. Good neighbors watch for problems, daughter stops in every week. We have security cameras I can watch from my phone if I have service. Lights on intermittent timers. Also, the local police have a vacation watch service. They keep an...

    Steve & Deb's Hiker Trailer 5X8 Deluxe

4X8 Basic starts at $2800, and loaded Off-Road Extreme goes for $15k or so. Mine was *much* closer to the former than the latter. Pick your size on hikertrailer.net for a starting point. Email them for prices on options.

Yea, my ball hitch is welded to the tongue, so not an easy swap. I'm sure I can cut it off, but I'm not inclined to mess with it at this point.

    Steve & Deb's Hiker Trailer 5X8 Deluxe

Being empty, it bounced a bit on the way home, but honestly, not as much as I expected. And on concrete highway with regularly spaced bumps, it did a little of the push/pull that any trailer I've ever towed does. But after 30 minutes, I didn't even notice it. The trailer body is narrower and...

Steve’s 2016 Toyota 4Runner Modification and Adventure Thread

Today I took advantage of the 20% off Fall Sale at Goal Zero, and bought a Yeti 150 power bank. It will be used to power the 12V stuff in the Hiker Trailer until I decided exactly what I want to do with the electrical and solar.

Who owns a Land Rover ?

I'm definitely not one for "do a search, n00b!" Besides, our search can be finicky, as it defaults to only searching the subform that you are in. I find the best way is to just search title only with as few words as possible to narrow down the topics. To find the above, I searched "Rover" in...
