That’s a nice list of items. Does the signal panel double as a pocket to store everything?

I use an XGrip for my iPad. It wiggles a bit on rough washboards, but has never slipped. It has the 1” balls.

I was looking at the Tacoma mount and it hit I’ve seen that before.

Set the crossbars in place to check desired spacing. At least there will be a spot for muddy boards. I’ll have to respace for the kayak. I may use them for a flat rack too.

Another basic reason for not being able to combine the two is this: GMRS is channelized frequencies, ham radio is frequency agile with one band exception. The two are not readily combined from a regulatory standpoint. That’s the same reason a combination of ham and CB is not available.

Roof rack bars for thethirdtwin. Some assembly required. The t-nut channel was an unexpected bonus. That could be handy for some overland gear.

I can’t see how what it’s hanging off of makes a difference to the rack. Having the trailer mounted hitch being stout enough is quite another matter.

This stuff. I patched a burst radiator tank, finished my trip in Big Bend, then was able to drive 400 miles home.
