I use an iPad mini and a pro-clip dash mount. For apps, I use Gaia and have been recently trying out Hema, they seem very similar, but lean toward Gaia. I also travel with a Delorme GPS InReach Explorer for safety and some nav.
I, too, have a Unifen Bearcat CB radio mounted in my Jeep, but also travel with a handheld Baofeng ham radio and a Gmrs radio too. Love the Bearcat, included SWR meter helps with tuning.
I'm thinking of swapping my GMC 3500 for this bad boy. Pretty amazing capabilities! On the other hand the TRD Off Road 4x4 has almost the same package and I'm likely to swap the suspension anyway... But that TRD Pro badge would look pretty nice next to my OB #1836 emblem!
I'm a big fan of the trails around Lake Alpine. Good camping around the lake, great camping just a short distance from the beginning on the Slick Rock trail.
I looked at that mounting bracket for that exact reason, but it only fits on a four door front seat :(.

I ended up with a dual ARB compressor under the hod. Install was a bit more difficult due to Jeep changing the AC compressor hose routing, but it's in. I routed a steel braided air line from the output of the compressor to the bumper. I also have the Hurricane manifold to attach to the quick...
