I have dual Deka AGM Intimidators. (9A34R's) Haven't had any issues at all with them, the starting one cranks over fine in the dead of winter and the aux. one powers the fridge and other stuff like a charm. I run a TMax dual battery controller to keep them both in line.

I keep the fridge in the rig along with all foodstuffs. Never had an issue at all. We had a big cat come strolling by one night, and he seemed more interested in what was up in the rooftop tent than the food in the rig.

And the unboxing begins. Well, the diff cover anyways. I wanted to see if it lives up to it's reputation. And it surely does, what a heavy well made piece of kit.

I made a quick run across the border to pick up a "care package" from Rugged Rocks. New 3.73 gears, a new rear E-Locker, and an ARB diff cover.
I also made the mandatory stop at the taco truck for lunch while in the USofA.
Wet Wipes. Just kidding. No seriously, Wet Wipes. Followed closely by the fridge, probably the single best investment I have made is the Dometic CF50 fridge.

I just ordered an ARB CKMA12 compressor with line, an ARB tire delflator, and an ARB puncture kit. Working on completing and upgrading my rigs capabilities bit by bit.
I have a dual battery setup with a TMax controller. I also have a simple Coleman 75 watt solar panel and a controller. The controller is wired directly to the aux battery and I honestly only use the solar panel if I am parked for longer than a day. I have an appx 15 foot cable so I can park in...
And another somewhere in northern Africa. My Grandfather served in Africa and always had a soft spot and they returned on summer adventures many a time.
My mother and uncle as kids, on the road with my grandfather somewhere in Europe. The rig in the back ia Bedford camperized truck. (looked like an old WWII ambulance) My Grandfather eventually had it shipped to Canada in the early 60's, drove it clear across the country, stopped for gas between...
Ive been searching wrecking yards online and today I found and bought an M205 front diff from a 2013 Armada to swap into my Xterra. I already have the required V8 Pathfinder axles sitting here beside my desk at work, and will be ordering gears (and a new E-Locker) from Rugged Rocks in the next...
No need to steal, feel free to borrow...........saw it on a tv food show once and ever since I've been smoking stuff I always keep some pulled pork aside for pancakes.
I like to pre-cook some things (like pulled pork for instance). Then I portion off meals into Foodsaver vacuum bags and freeze them for future camping trips. I will also premake pasta sauce, freeze it in a container then transfer it to the Foodsaver vacuum bags as well. I've been sous vide'ing...
Yeh, that's it. I think it's pretty cool. We've been a little ways in that adit (as far as I could feel a breeze). I've chatted with a guy who is a caver and he says he's explored miles of the internal workings.
One day while we were up exploring inside the upper stope area, a group of...
I don't know where or how it is fenced off. I read it on another forum. I'd imagine right at the entrance to the stope. There should still be walking access to all of the other lower mine entrances. It's still likely worth the adventure.
There are a ton of places to explore in the area. I'll get...
