I just saw one this week and it looks like a well built small table that would pack fairly easily.
I liked it because it was a little larger than average TV tray at 30". With sturdy aluminum legs and a solid composite plastic top it seemed easy to clean and not too heavy. Sometimes my...
@Road , thanks for the reply. Your experience in all things related to remote travel is greatly appreciated. I don't recall too many/or any that have spent more time in the wild than you....and maybe Jerimiah Johnson! LOL! And JJ isn't on the interwebs. I will continue to refine my needs and...
Still seems like a decent deal just for the emergency function and out of cell capabilities. Reviews online were about how ya'll are describing. Think I'm gonna pull the trigger on it. I was going to get mapping on a yet to be purchased gps tablet like a Galaxy S8. Thanks!
Maybe mid-Summer till Fall. Maybe starting in the Northern Rockies and slowly fishing and touring southward as the season progresses. Maybe spending a few days on the way out in the Black Hills NF. Since I have never been on a road trip longer than three weeks and have only fished a handful of...
Yes, I have salmon in the pantry. Going to put some bell peppers in the recipe along with the onions. Why do they pronounce it "sammon"? I lost an argument one time about that! But, right there in the dictionary it's "sammon". Go figure?
Was at Vicksburg some years back. Near there for work anyway. We drove around the battlefield and the town some. It was August as I recall and rather hot and humid. Still, it was easy to imagine how the siege and battles went there on the river. Yes, the particulars of every skirmish and battle...
My Momma called them salmon croquettes. Basically the same I reckon. I haven't had any since she used to make them long ago. Dangit, that's another recipe I will have to try. Thanks!
I was recently kinda ninja camping at an area with lots of Revolutionary and War of Northern Aggression history. I had read about a particular skirmish and was wondering where the battery for three guns would have been placed. Being it was still winterish and the leaves were fairly absent I was...
I think it was these are the better fit?? I need to go out to the shed (raining at the moment) and see what I used but it was snug and I had to stretch it.
I'm now among the gentlemen of leisure so every day is pretty much the same...not same, but don't keep up with the passage of time like I used to. It's just like, 'What do I feel like doing today?" Noice!
I used these thingys.

They have all kinds of fasteners for various applications.
I was a little concerned not to put a fuel cylinder in a place that could be easily compromised in an accident.
Been to some of those sites. Yellowstone and Glacier are spectacular. Deadwood we didn't even stop as we drove through to Rushmore. Custer as in Little Big Horn? That was interesting. I like visiting battlefields. Have a safe trip!
Anyone used this DeWalt fan? I have some batteries for the chainsaw and hedge trimmer. Thought it might be a useful addition. Reviews are OK but not for moving lots of air in an outdoor/larger area it seems.
