    After-market Suspension Modifications

Have a good look at falcon suspensions. They are awesome for overlanding rigs. No matter what rig.

    New Vehicle Purchase

Winch, selectable rear locker and a lift in you vehicle and go. That’s what I would do.

    Any experience with Ironman 4x4?

Freakin pricey. Plus if you are going to blatantly rip off arb bumpers, better make sure you don’t charge arb prices. Also, 350 bucks for a basic shock? Out to lunch. You can get a falcon adjustable resivoir shock for that money.

    Tablet and Phone Mounts

I see this and I miss my old suburban. Mine was neglected for years but I still loved the vehicle. Perfect size for long trips

    Tablet and Phone Mounts

Unfortunately if you want solid mounts it’s probably holes in your dash. If you can switch apps like I do, and use one device, you can probably get a pro clip mount and a ram option for the cross trek.

    2"lift on 2001 Nissan pathfinder

I had the same rig and it’s an awesome ride. Mine was 1998.5 they called it. Had the chilkook trail edition. I hit a moose with it when it had less than 1000km on it. Did 15000 dollars worth of damage. Kept me safe though. I wish I still had it, it was that good.

Jose, Check out ruffwear and wilderdog. They have AWESOME products for fuzzy companions at camp and in the vehicle. We will get getting a bunch of stuff from both when we get our pooch!

Spacers! Good enough for what your looking to do. I had teraflex spacers on my last JK and it was perfect. I would not hesitate to use them again. And maybe will be in a few weeks.

    Overlanding and Autism

We have Colin an Outdoor Research hat that has bug repellant built into the fabric. It also has a flap that comes down over the neck and ears area that keeps most of the flys away from that area. Works really well for us. Not sure if its going to fit him anymore. Might have to buy a new...

FOR SALE LePan Mini 8" GPS enabled tablet.

I used a bunch of different programs. Backcountry Nav, Topo Canada pro, Oryx etc. All worked as intended. It worked great. Actually it's better than my new samsung as it also has a compass sensor onboard. My Samsung does not.

    Has overlanding become elitist ?

Yep. Agreed. I got banned over there for saying that a lesser brand pedal bike was just as useful and fun as a uber buck expensive model. The two brands in discussion were motobecane from bikes direct (what I was looking at), and a cannondale (what the moderator was suggesting). Price...

Well, the ole patriot is getting some miles on her now. So my wife and I are going to give it a little suspension refresh. We are adding Bilstien struts and shocks, new moog springs, energy suspenison bumpstops and bushings where I can replace, new moog dog bones and the daystar 1.5" lift...

    What is your EDC Flashlight?

I know. Annoying. I can't wait until the snow is gone here so we can get out camping etc. I am cooped up here now, only able to go on short snowshoe walks with the family. We would be up in the woods until this entire thing has blown over, thats for sure. Back to our regularly scheduled...

    Air Rifles

There are lots of hunting air guns too. I am a huge fan of air guns, just because they are out of the norm.
