    I would look at truetracs. No complexity of air lines and compressors, and if your not hardcore crawling they will get you where you need to go. I'm putting them in our jku.

    I remember before we had electricity at our cabin. We used a generator, and a small microwave. Our 3000w would drag down quite a bit with the microwave. Our 1400w would overload and shut off. Have you looked at one of those butane stoves. Small and work great. I have 2.

    Tires make all the difference in the world. More than any other modification. Don't pass unibody vehicles either. I am after owning two patriots and they can go surprisingly far in the back country. Tires are a great improvement.

    We have about 9" of clearance on the patriot. I think that is enough for most situations for sure. Unless it gets really rocky. The wrangler is still out on how much clearance I will have since I am waiting for my lift and components to arrive.

    You can use any portable stove to have hot food. You want hot food fast by the sounds of it. Ha ha.
