It's the Samsung galaxy tab a 8. I use apple for my phone and I have an ipad 6th gen too. I like the Samsung for the cost of the device, the included lte and the fact I can use torque pro and other bluetooth options without the apple walled garden where only certain devices are compatible...

Tablet - anyone using a Lenovo tablet for Gaia?

Yes, I got mine through telus. Lte was not an option there. I do like just having it. It's getting better reception than our phones. The internal antenna is larger which gives us access in more places than our phones.

    Cheap “Tips” and “Tricks

I am not sure if this classifies as cheap. But I was shopping around for a mount for my tablet. I peiced together some ram stuff for 130 bucks Cdn and got the dash mount from amazon for 31 shipped. Not a bad deal since this is for two rigs. I can move quickly from one rig to the other with...

Converting from rock crawler to overlander

I have been looking for a set north of the boarder for my patriot for a while now. As for your Jeep, make it drive good on road, off road and take some gear. Pack in the family and get outdoors. Jeeps are the best.

I recently added a Samsung tab a 8 to my airtime plan. I like the lte connectivity, but my lepan 8 inch tablet is better screen size and has a built in compass. I am typing this on my iPad 6th gen. I use everything and for dash nav duties I would not use ipad since the storage is non...
