The Wenas campgrounds (BBQ Flats and Cascade Camp) are nice and green this time of year.
The grandsons are camping with us so that is a bonus for me. I don't get to see them that often.
We are hoping to get the same spot. Just a little farther down in the sun for the solar.

The locker in the JK is still not working. The YJ is a funner wheeling rig so I plan to use it a lot and keep the JKU for overland trips.

The Juniper Dunes Trip was a lot of fun. The Rally Point post really did not do much. @MrWilsonWJ and myself were the only ones that I know of that came. Let's open it works better when it warms up.

Snow in April - 4/12/22
This is in the Yakima & Selah, Washington areas. We normally do not have some in April in this area.
You can see the snow covered hill from downtown Yakima.

Most I know consider the top of the Cascades the line between Western Washington and Eastern Washington. The passes are hard pulls with a load. Once on top of the Cascades, it is mostly down hill.
Extra fuel is peace of mind. We do a three day trip through the Blue Mountains and it takes a full tank in most of our vehicles. If the road was blocked by fire or something and we had to take a different route out, we would need more fuel.
