Best Rig to Start a Build

Bison is a great rig. Not sure what the extra parts are thst you are looking at. But it's plenty capable and built off the showroom floor. I would add some lighting and a cap on the pan of the truck and drive the wheels off

High Mileage Rigs And Legendary Powerplants

Back when I had my supercharged integra the altezza kicked off the clear tail light craze! ha ha. My car looked stock on the outside but was all business under the hood. We even modified the stock muffler to have more flow while keeping the sound very much in check and looking boring. As...

High Mileage Rigs And Legendary Powerplants

Our patriot rolled up 100k km this past summer and my wrangler has 139000 on it. All amsoil as well. My wrangler has a small coolant leak around the intake manifold gasket so I have to do that job, next spring. Not messing with that in the cold.

    Affordable A/T Tires

I would bite the bullet and get something good when it comes to tires, I made that mistake this year and bought off brand mt tires. I should have bought bfg at like I was going to but I got these for 300 bucks cheaper. Won't make that mistake again.

Anyone know if Gaia can work off line on a windows based unit using a bluetooth GPS receiver?

    GPS on Samsung TAB question

I have the tab A LTE, mine does not have a compass, but it does have a GPS module built in and it's a great device for overlanding/exploring. I use Gaia on it and it's awesome IMO.

    Elite Athletes & Overlanding

Beat me to it, I am far from retired from professional drinking however! ha ha ha. Careful pushing past the limits in that one though, the outcome is BRUTAL! I have been there on more than one occasion. On a more serious note, I raced mountian bikes in Yellowknife when I lived there...

Before Overland Bound - What you drove/rode before joining?

We had a 34ft Marine Trader Trawler like this one. I cannot find photos of it on my computer. They must be on another HD somewhere. We rebuilt the rear berth and made it wider and put a deck on the Arse end of it. Was beautiful on the ocean. One of the best boats in the marina for heavier seas.

    Overlanding with a Honda Ridgeline

Awesome. thank you for the Follow along! Obviously, we are sort of not able to move about and go where we would like to this year. We will be kicking it into high gear NEXT YEAR and towing our little sylvan sport around everywhere. I will be doing more writing now that Colin is back in...
