    Just another WJ

I had Kevin's OTK setup before I did the axle swap and all of that, was a great steering setup. -TJ

    Big Rigs, Full Sized Only

Awesome, I just sent you an email. Their website only shows the winch version for the '07-10s not '11-14 (the cooling stack did change in '11 FWIW). -TJ

    RIGd UltraSwing Megafit

Got my 1-Up setup, riding tomorrow. Had to use a 6" extension to clear the massive spare, used an anti-rattle on the extension into Rig'd side, and the 1-up has it's own where it goes into the extension. I will say, watching it in the mirror it bounces a lot... I might look into a ratchet...

Love seeing another SAS'ed Fool-Size GM! -TJ

Let's see those full size rigs - Trucks & SUV

We also have this full size, but I'd be lying if I said I expect it'll get much actual "Overland" use: -TJ

Forum won't allow 2 characters in "First Name" field...

Or a person with a real, legal name of TJ... not initials, not short for anything, but on their birth certificate, driver's license, Social Security card etc. "TJ"... asking for a friend (that friend is me). -TJ

Forum won't allow 2 characters in "First Name" field...

Is there any way we can revisit this? It's getting really old to get told my "name isn't valid" anytime I try to update my profile. I think you'll find reducing to a 2-letter first name requirement in account descriptions isn't going to change any threat vectors. I could see a 2-letter...

Hello from the SF Bay Area!

Nice Super Duty! I'm a Fool-Sizer also based out of the SF Bay Area (Palo Alto). I have a Chebbie, but it has some f3rd parts on it... -TJ

    Toilet

Man, you Overland differently than I do. My goal is to be as far as from civilization and people as possible. If I'm within "emergency restroom situation" drive of an established restroom I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too close to society... -TJ

The best camp light I've ever used!

Remember the backside of it is a solar panel. For that panel to be at all effective in recharging it has to have some surface area. Also, the 4 smaller lights detach and have both hooks and magnets for using away from the "head." I actually like that it's a bigger, broader primary light...

The best camp light I've ever used!

It's big, but not crazy-bright. If you cook a lot and want to light up a table as well as a BBQ/Skottle/whatever you cook on it's a good size. -TJ

The best camp light I've ever used!

I have the same one, and mostly love it. It sets up super easy and I like having the protective hard case. The only issue I have is runtime doesn't seem great. It doesn't seem like you tested runtime, curious to see what you find. -TJ

US West Monthly North Bay Meet-up/Trip - Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Mendo, Lake

Glad you made it home eventually. How was the food (and beers) at that little restaurant? Hopefully that was at least a bit relaxing. Glad you were able to swap it after all! I got back into Palo Alto about 10pm last night. Uneventful drive back down, which was certainly welcome at that...

US West Monthly North Bay Meet-up/Trip - Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Mendo, Lake

I'll be making the pasta I mentioned, instead of adding chicken I'm going to do some chicken skewers on the side for folks that want a protein. I also have stuff to do a breakfast scramble sort of thing in the AM Sun, but IDK how quickly/early everyone will be trying to get out of camp. -TJ

US West Monthly North Bay Meet-up/Trip - Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Mendo, Lake

Okay folks, I'm in! I plan to leave Palo Alto around 0700 tomorrow which should get me to the Eel River Campground by ~1100. Rig pictured above, and I only have GMRS but will jump on 15. Honest question, do you do dairy? The reason I ask is I have a nice lemon-cream sauce pasta with...

    Rude? Yay or nay

Fair 'nough... let's chalk it up to misunderstanding and the nature of communicating via written word without the advantage of cues like body language and tone of voice. At the end of the day we can completely disagree, and that's fine. Being able to (politely) debate and do our best to...
