I am not endorsed, paid or otherwise compensated for this. But I just went out at our Patriot and I have a few things fixed up on the rig now the way I want it. First off, At the dealer the largest tire size they can program into the jeep is 255/60 as it's what on the FDII patriot. We have...
Well I took out a Nissan Rogue SL today. While it was nice, and nothing really wrong with it...but when I sat in the patriot, It was "home". I cannot wait to get it fixed and get our 4wd back!
Use an Ozark Trail tent and you will be fine. As long as you waterproof it. The idea you NEED all this crap is an internet thing. I have been "overlanding" for years and years with various vehicles with gear bought from Cdn tire and Walmart. Had just as much fun, and lots of money in the...
Ha ha. gotta love the dodge products. Leave you stranded constantly. :tearsofjoy::tongueclosed:
As for us. Met my wife at my brothers house one night. She was renting his basement apartment and we have been together ever since. She had a 5 year old at the time, and I took him as my own...
Honda fit, Toyota corolla of ANY year, the outback will be better than low 20s if it's a newer one. The brand new model gets 37 on highway 31-32 in town. My son has a 2007 Toyota corolla and it goes forever on a tank of gas.
two rear wheel bearings are toast. No noise that I could hear, but had her scanned and all sensors are good and the bearing are bad. Oh well, in the shop next week for some repairs.
Thanks for the information. We are shopping now, I have narrowed my choices to either a new Nissan rouge midnight edition, or the base model outback. Both are within the same price range, have similar features inside and tick most of the boxes for us. Fuel efficient, with generous cargo...
Ok, I am going to bring it to City Tire, they said they don't know if their scanner will give which sensor is out or not, but better than guessing and throwing parts at it.
thanks for the info John.
The good ole Patriot bites us in the rear once again. This time in a 4wd/traction control/abs issue. No cruise, traction control or awd drive. The mechanic said it's a wheel bearing. I don't hear any noise from any of the wheels. Lets see what it actually is. I have been reading and it...
Good knives are hard to get locally. I have a Gerber bear Grylls foldable for my EDC and a BG fixed blade in the Jeep all the time with a fiskers mini axe. They work as a perfect combo for us.
OH, I hope you guys are visiting Machu Pichu. My friend from a town an hr away won a trip with honda Canada to ride the new at the time Varadero bikes to machu for a 2wk trip. trip of a lifetime.
Stay safe you guys!
The worst of it was Kelly, Colin and Tyler having to go through it. I c a nt remember most of it. But I think we are through jt now. It's great you guys are home for a bit with family. I know it's been a rough year for you and your family as well. I truly hope our paths will cross in the...
What wonderful stories guys. We had a major health scare on Christmas eve. I almost died early in the morning from anaphalaxis. It was the scariest thing we have ever gone through as a family. I am relaxing at home, catching up on your videos and just wishing our family was down in some place...
talk your group into not just going to the bay of fundy. Keep heading east and visit Newfoundland while you are over this way! You won't regret it. I know lots of back country routes for central part of the island so you won't have to black slab it. :grinning:
