Personal input... my old 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 Extra cab with a 6.5’ bed is about as large as I would want to go. It was almost too big, hence I bought the Bronco.
I was going to ask if you did the fuel pump access mod... but I see it’s done... I think I’m going to do that in the springtime.
Are you going back with the standard 19 gallon tank, or the JBG 35 gallon extended tank?
BTW your Bronco(s) are my inspiration... I really wish I could take the...
Grinder must have got pinched on the bolt head and kicked right back at me... I don’t know exactly... I haven’t gone back to try to figure out what happened, trying not to relive it yet...
Well, it’s not what I did to the rig today but what the rig did to me, the Adventure Machine must have not liked getting tickled. I joined @Downs in the grinder club. 35 stitches to the face and 3 to the finger...
Just returned from storage with my transmission... several things I discovered... 1) the transmission is out of a 1989 F-250 which is great news means ordering parts stays the same. 2) I found the transmission in a 1995 F-350 so I assumed they pulled the transmission out of that truck so I...
I’m waiting for the noise ordinance curfew to be lifted in a few minutes, then I’m going to grab a fire extinguisher and a grinder... it’s coming off no matter what... I don’t care if the bolt stays in the transmission or not because the transmission isn’t getting reused in this project. I am...
ADA (another darn Army). A world of its own... I was attached to ADA for 7 years and thought I would never leave. My brother was a 14T for years 8 (2001-2009) serving out of Fort Bliss, TX and Korea.
Thank you for your service.
If you have the room, I cannot recommend the Gazelle Tents enough... I have owned a lot of tents over the years from cheap Ozark Trail Walmart tents to high end outfitter tents, and the Gazelle Tents are way under priced for their convenience and their durability.
I was on the fence for quite a while regarding fixing it or selling it and getting a 2021... I’m glad I decided to keep the “New” Classic. As much as I love working on cars (was a diesel technician for 30 years with a huge background in light truck repair and auto body) I am tired of working on...
Nice looking 5th Gen. after owning 3 (yes 3) XJs, there is no comparison to the Bronco... in stock form I can do way more than I could do with my heavily modified XJs... the only downside to the Bronco is the lack of interior cargo space, especially if a cage is installed (which I will be doing...
That’s one nice kit... I love the bag...
I would inventory the bag, find out what you actually need from it and remove everything else... then reorganize the locations of things inside the bag. Add some servival stuff to it like flashlight, HT, antenna, Raspberry Pi loafed with digital ham...
One bolt has me cussing up a storm... I have been trying for three days to get it loose, I’m to the point where in a couple of hours I’m getting under there and grinding the head off... it’s the last bolt holding the engine to the bell housing inspection cover... right behind the y-pipe on the...
