It wasn't about slow down. It was a complete stop before each water crossing. It was a remote area with no cell service. He if wasn't comfortable with water crossings in the middle of the Adirondacks he shouldn't have been there. It's not like I was doing 50. I may have wanted to go 15 while he...
The slow driver is the one who is acting like they own the road. You should move aside if you want to move slow. I was stuck behind a subaru a few weeks ago who was nervous about the road/trail we were on. I wanted to get to where I was going and he wanted to avoid every puddle. He should have...
On the 4.0 the intake is in the wheel well. Not a great place if you plan to go through water. The snorkel will raise that and allow cleaner air to enter the engine. However, I've had a snorkel for about 2 years and the air filter get way dirtier quicker. Is that a good or bad thing? I don't know.
I see an MDX on the beach here in NJ all of the time. It's the same guy so I assume he knows what he's doing but its obviously capable to make it onto a soft sugar sand beach. My wife has an RDX which has been SOLID reliable. I wouldn't take it off road though.

One of the many things Lifestyle Overland does well is endorse products that they know work. Then the companies reach out to him to try new gear. I've seen Kevin talk about many things he didn't like and won't be using anymore. However, the companies that do make good quality gear stick with...
Remember, some fridges like the legacy ARB only have cooling plates on the bottom. My Snomaster has them in the walls and bottom. So, for some fridges you'll freeze the bottom row and stuff on the top may not even be cold. Be mindful of that when purchasing a fridge.
