concerns for cargo capacity.... yup, that was the only feature I didn’t like about the new Bronco.... disliked it so much I decided it was better to build out my FSB instead of switching to a MSB (FSB=Full Sized Bronco; MSB=Micro Sized Bronco)
Sounds like you need a dual band antenna... I get a solid 1.2 SWR a crossed both 70cm and 2m, without a tuner... however I do need a tuner with my HF rig because it covers 160-6m.
correct... I’ve heard of converting a 10m transceiver to CB, or was it the other way around? But the conversion is an either or, not both.
Another thing... 2m on the road is used... I talk to travelers every day from my QTH on either local repeaters or on 146.52... my CBS are set to channel 19...
The best catfish I ever ate came from Belton Lake and served up in a restaurant there in Georgetown.

@G.Goodwin they don’t have an all in one mic for ham... but... most mics have a minimum of buttons for changing frequencies and memory banks... some mics have more features than others... many dual band radios have a detached face plate, so mounting the radio under the seat and then using some...
