Holiday trip: MA - FL. Route and overnight ideas?

Skyline is open always, except periods of inclement weather. What info do you have? Quick Google search yields nothing out of the ordinary

    Bilstein 5100 height adjustment

For GM vehicles anyway, there are 4 adjustment rings. Mines at #3 and it is good and level and I did not put a larger block in the back. With a shell on the back and fully loaded it seems a little high in the nose. Probably you won't have that problem with a winch on front. For what its worth

    Titan swapped 2012 frontier pro4x

Much more versatile with a fiberglass topper. Not as good in the trades, but way better for camping

    Daily driver overlanding

Ya. I would LOVE to keep my truck AND have a Forester Wilderness. Not in the cards right now but if they were both older vehicles, it might be possible. For example I just got rid of my lifted Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ this past spring

    Daily driver overlanding

Crosstrek...tome...I could fit a Coleman 52 quart cooler and a tent back there. Doubtful if a roof box AND two kayaks would make a comfy ride. Certainly very little room to sleep unless you do have a roof box. I like them and try to convince myself, but the Forester is a better fit for me so...

    What to do first?

Speaking of BF Goodrich...Advantage TA Sport...also a good tire for a vehicle like this. My girl has them on her 2013 GMC Terrain Denali. I can't FORCE the thing not to grip the road. 3 peak mountain snowflake rated. Good for light offroad

    What to do first?

@Alanymarce - I would trust that opinion. They drive all over the place. @tjZ06 - I second that. and @Akicita too All the tires I have read on this thread to this point are great except some may be very heavy for your car. I have seen BFG A/T's paired with Boxer wheels so the extra weight...

    What Gear/Tools to Get Started?

Have you tried the Search function here? Upper right corner of the page, little magnifying glass icon. Not to sound droll, but in addition to the answers you receive here, if you search your question, you will find numerous threads of that very same nature, containing a plethora of...

The rig I spent two years building was just stolen! Heartbroken

    Sorry this happened. Definitely sucks.

The rig I spent two years building was just stolen! Heartbroken

Who the h3ll wants a Maserati anyway? Gm truck is infinitely more valuable for parts or transport to Mexico.

Complete and total Kayak Noob. What do I get?

Simple is better at first but a few accessories aren't bad. Try a simple 10 foot Perception sit-in. I think the new ones have a dry well in back and may have small fishing rod holders. Or a 9.5 Swifty. That should get you going. Personally I have a Swifty and a Wilderness Systems 10 foot...

    Our biggest nightmare just happened

Correct. Taking my food out of a cooler I left outside - fault on me. Someone needs some $ quick and leaves me alone after I give them a 10-spot, ok. Sucks, but ok. We have the same law here in Massachusetts. LTC used to be issued for "Protection of Life and Property" until some dentist...

    Our biggest nightmare just happened

Yeah, I read about that. THAT'S The worst nightmare. I focused on the issue, less than the severity as things turns out. A little scary I guess

    WARNING: Capless Fuel Tanks

I had a hard time with my 14 GMC Sierra when I ever first tried it. Now my gas cap doesn't click, though it does appear to close and does not throw a code. I thought for the next time I would even put a funnel within a funnel if I had to. This is nuts but at least there's a work-around

    Successful trip to Stowe Vermont

Nice pics! Nice trip! Nice compass rose and I like that the top pinstripe is reflective. Do you have a route map or description for us?
