    OB Hoodies

I'm thinking we need to get a couple hundred members to commit to buy. Heck, I would pay in advance.

    OB Hoodies

Seems like this is not getting the attention it deserves....I would also like a hoodie...it's too cold for just my OB tee shirt......not cold enough for my jacket with my OB member patch......it's just right for my OB hoodie with my region logo on the back....OH WAIT...I ain't got one of those...

    1958 FC-170

This is a cool project you got going there. I have always liked those types of trucks from the 40's and 50's.

What keeps you from overlanding more?

For me, its work. My work schedule can be somewhat unpredictable. It makes it tough to plan.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I installed 2 new batteries last night. The old factory ones were about 3 years old, and I think the cold was taking a toll on them. I wanted to upgrade to deep cycles but wasn't able to find the right group size for my truck.

Hello from Idaho - Boise Area

Hey welcome to OB. That's a pretty nice, and clean canvas, to work with. I will be visiting Boise in a couple weeks to root Wyoming on in the Potato Bowl.

    The open gate

A couple of years ago I charted a course across 75 miles of forested dirt road in Montana. I mapped it all out, set waypoints on Google earth and studied the satellite maps to identify any issues. I blazed out one morning on my 1998 XR600R (street plated). I got about 55 miles in, well past the...

To date, I have a set of 2" spot beam led pods to be mounted in front off road bumper at fog light pockets a set of 2" flood beam led pods to be mounted in front off road bumper at fog light pockets a set of 6 rock...

Best Treatment To Prevent Rust On Undercarriage?

As already mentioned, Fluid Film is the way to go. It was originally created to protect pumps, motors, and other various equipment on the off shore oil rigs.

Colorado Diesel 4x4 Long Travel build

Nice rig. Wasn't sure if I was going to like the fenders, but with them painted, it looks really good.

    MegaLander Build

Yeah, Being a gasser definitely helps. Not long ago I saw a Hemi powerwagon with a winch behind a stock bumper. I like the pinch/sandwitch type of mounting to the frame the best. I have seen sliders welded to the frame that took a pretty hard hit to the mounting bar and torn the frame base...

    MegaLander Build

Nice! Looking forward to watching your build. What bumper did you decide to go with? I like the White Knuckle offroad sliders, but I feel they are overpriced, especially when you add shipping.

    Lighting upgrade...What connectors?

Thanks for the info. I definitely think that the solder is necessary. Without the solder any moisture will eventually cause corrosion and then result in a poor connection. Cheap insurance!

    Lighting upgrade...What connectors?

This is exactly what I am looking for. Do these require a special crimp tool?

So, either all of you guys use weatherpak connectors, or....you just twist the wires together and e-tape them, this can't be.....

    Lighting upgrade...What connectors?

Hey all, I am gathering up the materials to install lighting on my truck. The system will consist of Rock lights mounted to the outside of the frame. These will be more for perimeter lighting while camped. Led pods mounted in the fog light holes of my front bumper. Led bar, or individual round...
