Hey, sounds like you have all the requirements to be a top notch Overlander.
You should get a build page going and get to work getting that pile bolted on the rig.
Welcome to the team and I look forward to your families adventures!
So I agree that there is a need for both. However, I don't "carry" much cash. That does not mean I don't have a supply near by.
If you are in the habit of carrying a bunch of cash on your person you could become a target. When I travel I keep enough cash on my person to cover a modest shopping...
I have always been a fan of S'Burb's. Almost bought a 95 when I was younger but had a blown HG. I would really love one with a Cummins!
Welcome to the Team.
This is a good idea. I have been giving this some thought as a Plan B option. Was thinking I could build a hinged rack above the tent so that they kind of opened together. I will have to draw something up to see what it would look like.
I appreciate the info. I didn't realize they were double walled. The Autohomes mount the brackets on the sides of the top, but they probably planned for it by reinforcing that area. Guess I am back to looking.
That is a great album. I appreciate that there are so many people, even kids that look so happy. Just proves that being outside is good for us.
So many awesome rides. Tons of ideas.
@Jeepsies I am very interested in the iKamper. My only hang up is I need a RTT that will support a load. I want to be able to bring my Canoe along on my trips. Its a Kevlar boat and only weighs 35#. I have chatted with the iKamper guys. They say no, but, I understand that they would not want to...
Good looking truck. Wondering if you looked at the Colorado's. Lots of aftermarket. Anyways, the more you look, you will find some companies that fill the Nissan market. Looking forward to the progress and your adventures.
Your welcome. I just can't convince myself that the Decked system is really worth the cost. A lot of money for a giant piece of Tupperware. I think I will contract a local cabinet builder to make me a drawer system and then have it lined.
The company that I am using for the design process have a SEMA membership. This gives them access to the actual 3D files for various trucks. It is really helpful to see it this way.
