I didn't mean ask gooooooooooogle. I meant if you are going to... let's say Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park in Nevada. Go on GoogleEarth and search for it; Google Earth
Then use the mouse or arrows to zoom in or out and look for trail/roads to ride, I can tell you there are some fun roads...
So since you live in Murphy's I figure you know that Nevada can be cold and wet/snow in April. I go solo most of the time and I wander, but I take a personal locator beacon. Don't get too carried away with mileage, The "If today is Tuesday, this must be Belgium" plan get's old and increases...
Have you looked at these?

I do have an Estwing axe with the metal handle had it for 20 years, but don't like to take it camping. I have not personally broken a Fiskars, but within the last 6-8 months have read of 2 that have broken. Yep that Woodmans if big $$$, it looks to travel well size...
I am looking to get a new hatchet to replace my Fiskars, fiber handled one. I've been online looking for American made and came upon the Woodmans pal machete; Emergency Survival & Outdoor Brush Clearing Tool - Woodman's Pak
Anyone have one and yer thoughts? Or a traditional hatchet for those...
I a, didn't have the dad thing growing up, instead when the time came I was the dad and got the Coleman whitegas double mantle lantern for our Black Rock Desert trips in the 70's. Hated the fact I had to replace the mantles EVERY FRELLING TRIP, and sometimes multiple times on the vacation as...
Just as an aside, I've found that by removing(breaking the plastic) handles off of a set of nut drivers I can put them in my cordless drill and make short work of removing/installing nuts and bolts. Sometimes only using the rachet for initial loosening or final torqueing.
As I stated before I mostly use the 3/8's, I would advise getting the deep sockets, they can fit over the nut ends when you can't fit a spanner. I keep all my 3/8's in a Plano box, that way they don't get wet from condensation, rain, deep puddles or dirty from dusty conditions. I keep my 1/4's...
I mostly use 3/8, SAE and Metric, but if I have to set torque, I need the 1/2 to fit the wrench. Not much use for 1/4 on my rig, but it does allow for tightening some hose clamps in difficult places.
