    2008 4runner Build

I saw a guy here in Iowa on a Craigslist ad selling m101's for $1200. I need to do some research and see if that's a good price. I want one but I don't want to over pay either.

Lol, try it in a Wrangler. I really need to get my hands on a trailer like yours. I want to get an old m101 and put an RTT on it.

    2016 Appalachian Mountains Road Trip

Thank you so much for all the great info. This is really helping me and the wife out to plan our trip. She's already googling the Switzerland Inn. Sounds like it must be a definite place to stay! I looked at it myself and it looks impressive. I have a feeling this trip is going to be more...

    2016 Appalachian Mountains Road Trip

Wow, beautiful area. And thanks for the info. I will definitely do some research on the Catalochee Valley. Looks like a beautiful location to visit. But if we bring home a snake, my wife will go through the roof. lol Thanks again. Your images really make me want to get out and do some shooting.

    Anyone in Indiana?

I think it's a great idea. As this forum grows, there will probably be more interest as well. I know it's tough for people to get away, but, even if there's only a handful of us, that would be good. I think for me to get to Gary, IN is about 3 hours. So I'm usually in Michigan within 4 hours...

    Anyone in Indiana?

Any chance a guy from Iowa could possibly get in on this? Not a lot going on here in Iowa and I usually make a pilgrimage to Michigan every year. Would be fun to go once in a group.

Regions please. Someone can post something state specific within their region if needed.

    2016 Appalachian Mountains Road Trip

Thanks for the info. I had no idea it would be that chaotic in the summer. I'm going to have to do more research planning this trip than I thought I would. Had we stuck with the original plan to go to Colorado, I'm sure we'd be dealing with the same issue there. That's one of the reason I didn't...

Pics of your rig and the snow

Wow, wish I could do a road trip like that. Looks like it was a lot of fun. I briefly read your trip report. I'll have to read it more thoroughly.

2003 E-150 Build (Family Adventure Van)

Wow that's cool. The rack I'm putting on my Jeep won't be sturdy enough to stand on but at least I'll have more gear space. Keep us posted on the progress. Can't wait to see it when you're done. Someday we'll have to meet up on the trails and do some photographing.

Uncle Ruckus (warning, first post is long)

Geez, that must be one hell of a bumper. Dude must of been pissed he totaled his car. lol

Damn, I never want to run into the back end of your truck. Was the car totaled?

    2009 Hummer H3 Alpha

That's a hell of a set up. Really like the drawers. I'm thinking of eventually removing the back seat of my JKU and building some drawers for more storage space. I'll have to make them removable in case my daughter tags along on a trip. Also like where you keep your hi-lift jack. Yet another...

Man that is a sweet rig. You really know how to travel in comfort. The rack on top is sweet. Looks sturdy enough to set up a tripod and stand on.

Great looking rig! Nice build. I'm sure it's serving you well.

    2016 Appalachian Mountains Road Trip

My wife wanted to head to Colorado, Arizona and Nevada this summer, but I was able to talk her out of that idea. We want to take two weeks sometime this year and explore. Everyone wants to head West, but I want to go East. Last couple years we went to Michigan (lower and upper). Instead of...

    Jeep Badge of Honor?

Thanks for the info. That's another area I want to explore as well.

    Jeep Badge of Honor?

I was getting you and Jordan confused. I thought you were in Indiana. Looks like Kentucky? If so, that is an incredibly beautiful state. The wife originally wanted to head to Colorado for our summer trip but I think I have her convinced to head to Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, etc. I want...

I noticed your from Washington. Have you ever been to Glacier National Park in Montana? That is one area that's on my bucket list to explore and photograph.

Final itinerary for our SW tour

Love the Mogollon Rim area. Apache/Sitgreaves National Forest is a pretty cool area. I even lived in Payson, AZ for awhile just so I could spend a lot of time photographing in the Mogollon Rim. If I ever moved back to Arizona, it would definitely be Payson or the Showlow area. Enjoy your trip.
