I'm becoming more tempted to get rid of my Grand Cherokee and pick up a decent used LC. I doubt I'd ever get rid of my Wrangler. But there are times a vehicle with more room and comfort would be handy for long trips.
I'm not from the area, but my wife is wanting to make a trip down there someday. Hopefully you'll get some responses because I'm curious about trails myself down that way.

That's the problem. Not sure if I should just drag around a whole socket set or just what's needed for anything on the trail. Plus standard, deepwell, etc. That's why I was considering the spline drive with pass through. Still haven't decided yet. lol
Looks like an epic trip planned. I want to get to Glacier NP so badly. I'd love to spend a month up there photographing and hiking. Wish I could call in sick to work for a month this summer and head there. Looking forward to seeing your photo essay when your done.

Only takes a few minutes to remove the rack completely. Top still comes off...
I agree with a lot of it. When I had my new 3" Zone lift put on a couple months ago, my intention was to go up to 35's. I even had the front axle sleeved and gussetted. However, I'm finding I like the ride on 33's and will probably just stay there. 35's would degrade performance to some degree...
