That's true. And I'm surprised no one is talking about combining compressors with air tanks? It can really help mitigate CFM or Duty Cycle issues, depending on what the need is, and how the system is designed. Not magic, but this is the approach I am looking at for my own rig.
I know many of us setup a campsite, and do the majority of our cooking there. But what about those of us out on the trail at meal-time? How do you all prepare and cook a meal on the go? Or do you just brown-bag it? Any suggestions along the lines of @Michael's engine bowl video?
Agreed. While a diesel is possible, you're not really looking at getting much in the way of mileage. More torque for sure, if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, go with simplicity and a 5.3.
Nothing planned for this winter. I'm shooting to bomb around the UP in April. Have you visited the Michigan thread yet? We're getting a little group forming... https://www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/any-fellow-michigander.561/

FYI, I also tried Chrome and Firefox, and all worked as expected. Maybe an ad-blocker issue? Unfortunately, I can't use my laptop at work, so testing if its a firewall issue is out. Thanks for looking into this, though.

I didn't realize there was such a thing as "too strong"
I agree, there is a point where bitterness takes over, and it is no longer good. For me, it does take quite a bit to get there, but I'd guess as with most things its a matter of taste (no pun intended :sunglasses:)
This is a great thread. I've got a basic survival setup, but would like to augment it into a better GHB/BOB. I'll be coming back here as I build my checklist.
