Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Yeah, I have a winch on my034runner, but haven't got around to putting a bumper and winch on my134Runner yet. I'd say the only way we'd need a winch on this trip, is if we were dumb enough to try Soda Lake when it's wet!! Obviously, if it's still wet (Lots of Rain in Commiefornia right now!!)...
What other gear do you need that you don't have already? I mean a fridge is preferred, but you can get by with a good ice chest with blocks and maybe a little dry ice on top. PETT portable toilet Is a must in the National Park, but they're not all that expensive and you can have them delivered...
Yeah, I think Highway 666 is a little far for me, and neither of my 4Runner's would be a good option to drive all of those curves! Now, if I had a Supra or a Porsche 911......that could be a different story!! Lol!!
Right on, let me know as soon as you know! And, do you have a name? And yes, it's still a bit filled in. Might be a little bit of it washed away after all of this rain though!! Lol!
Hey Tim, right on, glad to have you join! It's a great trip, always fun and adventurous!! We're not going to be really doing any rock crawling, so you should be fine there. A far as radios, I always have 3-4 handheld units. But things that are important, is a potable toilet system, as per NPS...
Hey Chet, so yeah........this will be a three day trip for most everyone (I'm staying out for a week, going back into the park after our event is over)..... So the art of traveling in the desert.....is to be as prepared as you can be. I bring 20 gallons of extra gas for me, but most can get by...
I may as well get The List of attendees going!!!! Everyone who's committed, and adding themselves, just copy and paste the list and add yourselves.

Yeah, you'd be fine.......I took a couple full size trucks out about two years ago, one was a Dodge, with the solid front axle. and the other was a Chevy. The Dodge hated life until he Finally aired down his tires!! That truck apparently rode like a rock!! LOL! Once he aired down like the rest...
Well damn, I'll be going out there, but for Easter weekend. If I had enough time to take off for both trips, I would join you. But, with limited time off, I have to pick my battles. So, Easter it is.
Also, anyone coming from the Las Vegas/Henderson area, we will meet up here at Findlay Toyota before heading down to Fort Mohave to meet out of towners.
It looks like I may already have a couple of non members who want to commit to this trip. As soon as I get their Firm commitments, I'll post them up here.
This is my either 19th or 20th Annual Easter Mojave Road trip!!!! I personally have been going out to the Mojave Preserve Every Easter since it became a National Park (1994).........and been doing organized trips for the last 19-20 years! Also, I do another one every September (3rd weekend) for...
I just talked to my buddy JP, he's out as he is going to Puerto Rico for a couple weeks the next weekend and can't swing both trips. So, Welcome!! What's y'all's names btw?
No worries......I'm doing a roll call now for the people going that aren't members of this site. I'll hit you back as soon as I here the other commitments. Everyone that is here on OB are in.
