Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Yeah, my understanding is that advice is if you do rock crawling or extreme off-roading. I stick to moderate trails that get me to remote camping spots only. I hope it won't be an issue. I'll look into those star cradles tho. Thanks for the tip

His is long bed crew cab. It's a beast. But no lift. It's more for pulling big heavy things like his mobile cabin he calls an RV on the freeway.

A lot of it depends on the tires you run. Outside magazine ran an article on Coyote Flat last year. They took a Jeep cute-ute with stock tires. It got a ton of flats but the 4Runner in the group didn't get any. For what it's worth, I had BFG KO2's and my father in law ran Falcon WildPeaks...
In that second group of trees, I saw a mountain lion attack a group of deer. One of the most incredible things I've ever seen. It chased three deer into the trees and i'm pretty sure I saw it take one down. It was pretty far away, but still amazing to witness.
