Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
This was merged with the holister ohv trip for this sat Dec 5.
I unfortunately can not do the Hollister drive as I have an appointment I can not miss. But I can still meet up for coffee this sat if people are still interested in meeting up.

Ran into some complications with the Morimoto mini h1s. I accidently destroyed the high beam solenoid. Also one thing to note is the H1 minis do not fit in the depo high beam location. They are just to long. Seeing that I was running low on time and I was going out of town. I opted to buy the...
There's been talk in the holister hills ohv thread to combined the two and run the trails. Look over in that thread.

If you want 4wd... read this.

Seriously tho... You are better off (financially) selling it and buying another 4runner with 4x4!
Emotionally you are probably attached to your current T4R. If you really want...
decided I did not like the look of the unmatching shrouds. Also found a sweet deal on denso ballasts. There's nothing wrong with the morimoto ballasts but I figure denso will last almost forever!
I'm just about to retrofit some FZJ80 DEPO glass headlights with Quad projectors.
If you're interested in what it looks like and the cost. Check out my build thread here.

Have most of the parts for the HID Retrofit already from the past and new purchase:
Most of the parts are from www.theretrofitsource.com. With the exception of the DEPO FJ80 6pc headlight kit I just bought brand new from ebay for $299.

Score! bought a set of 4 used Rav 4 switches on ebay. Came with the illusive CDL from the Rav 4. These supposedly fit the FZJ80 and plugs right in. First mod going in for $26!
Any one want to buy the hazard switch $10 shipped? These work as well for a CDL switch...
@administrator Now that I have the Fj80 and I'm keeping the 86 4runner. Does one get a new badge with a new # or a reprint of my same number to go on both rigs?

I'm getting a Viar 330c installed as my onboard air for my arb F&R lockers.
I also have the cheap $50 harbor freight portable air pump for a backup. I bought the 2yr warranty for it just in case i burn it out.
I've been at jeff's toy connection shop for the past month with my 86 4runner getting work done. I've been drooling over the white fj80. Didn't notice till now that you're a member too lol.
I'm here today with my newly purchased 97 lx450 getting some parts already.
just wanted to say hi and...
1. you shouldnt need to get new rotors unless they are leaking or you just want to upgrade to larger piston calipers.
2. I think you're mixing up rotors vs calipers. You don't resurface calipers, you resurface rotors.
3. I never resurface rotors anymore as they get to thin even if they are...
@ administrator
Wait... does that mean I need to get a new member number now?
I'm still keeping my overland ready 86 4Runner and it's badged with #590. Or do I just get a remake of #590 and stick them on both my rigs!
