Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
It's a very tough tire I ran Leviathon mines road in the Eastern seirras in my 2500 burb at 30psi and boy it did a number on my tires I don't know if it was the wieght of my rig or PSI I was running but I do see some noticable marks from the rock garden I went through. The side walls held up it...
BFG K02s are a great tire and so much much better than the the original K0. Run them on mud, snow, dirt and rocks. Have held up great very tough sidwall is extra piece of mind while on the trail. Tread life seems alot better too! Highly recommend them.

Pretty happy with the Sumo springs up front so I am also going to go with some Supersprings bump stops in the rear to replace the OE ones. Since doing the 2" lift block the OE are pretty much useless. Sumo has the 2" spacers along with the longer design to activate sooner. Less roll, more...
Not my experience at all with the K02, K02 yes even in the rain they were very good. Run them up in Tahoe the last two seasons they felt good even had to do an emergency stop in snow and I hooked so no compliant here. Love them.

I am in the same boat due to the length of the burb need some sliders for protecting the body. Also had issues with scraping my hitch had to do a 2" lift and now have much better departure angles. Hit my running board recently and luckily bent the rubber and not the brackets it ended up froming...
Another full-size rig Nice things a beast! Welcome there are several of us from Tracy! I started doing all the local OHV parks like Carnagie, Frank Raines and Hollister Hills to get a feel for how the suburban would do and it's pretty capable really just have to accept pint striping when...
Nice! happy to see more GMT800 on the site lately. The Suburban with BFG K02 33" and G80 lockers makes it really capable off-road! I just did a trip over moderate terrain (rocks) really happy that it rolled over rocks easily with 33" vs others in group with stock 31" and the additional lift...
