Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
I too would like to know a bit more here. Can the entirety of the trail be done in a day comfortably or is it better to break it into 2? I'll have the time for either, but the name "7 hour" is what is hanging me up.
That was on my radar, but butane is out for me, I do a lot of cold weather camping so propane is the ideal fuel. Excluding liquid fuel & white gas obviously lol.
I’m going to have to forego this one. Just realized I’m getting some work done on my rig this weekend. And I’m stuck with this appointment as I have a trip two weeks after. My spot is now available.
Ohhh ok, gotcha. Thanks for the clarification! Not sure if l will go the flexible route as I do a lot of winter/cold weather camping. My current hose was so rigid my last trip (mid January) that I had to put under all but my base layer for about 15 minutes just so it would be pliable again. I’ll...
I’m a fairly quick learner, but I’ve not changed out gas plumbing before. How difficult would this be for someone who’s never done that? Is it like a one for one kit? Or is “some assembly required”?
Awesome! One of the guys in my regular group just got one and it put it on my radar. I’ve read some good and not so good reviews, but of the not so good it’s hard to tell how well they treated the unit. Also some were used as a backpackers unit which made me scratch my head a bit..
I totally get it haha. I myself am about to order a Southern Style Offroad tube bumper, no protection cage above the Grille, but only adds ~60-70lbs. I don't believe I'll get the light bar cutout, I'm more of a fan of the Light Pod/Bulb housing look.
Finally replaced my busted taillight (Mounts broke when the bumper flexed up into it). Somehow the gorilla tape survived 4 weeks of Sleet, Slush, Rain & Snow. Glad I had packed it for my LBL trip.
I’m giving up my spot for this. I did the math and I cannot swing it with the little amount of vacation I have this year. Unfortunately have some other plans that have to come first.
For me escaping into nature, reuniting with old friends and making new ones along the way are always present in some way. Along with the sense of adventure, going down the road less traveled and exploring for my own experiences. The sense of freedom of not being tied to anything for a weekend or...
I'm also a fan of bags. Highly tunable as weight comes and goes off your rig. Also if you have a RTT you can balance your rig if you set them up correctly.
I'm in a 19 TRD-OR. I added an AAL on my rear and airbags to help me level/help with any additional sag. I'm glad I have the bags as the AAL was not enough by itself when I'm fully loaded. I'll be upgrading the rear springs once I get the rear bumper replaced.
If you plan on lifting the truck...
